BASEBALL CAMP BEGINS JUNE 1 AT ABAC

TIFTON—Four sessions of the Golden Stallions’ Baseball Camp will be held on the campus of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College beginning June 1 through the Public Service and Business Outreach Center.  Pre-registration is required.

The first camp will run June 1-5; the second from June 8 – 12; the third from June 15 – 19; and the last camp from June 22 – 26. All camps will take place from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the ABAC baseball field. ABAC Coach Steve Janousek said the camp is aimed at boys, ages 7 – 13 years old. There is a fee of $99, and participants need to bring a sack lunch.

This one week commuter camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball. Practices will take place in the morning, and games will be played in the afternoon. A competition will be held on the last day of camp.
