ALBANY OFFICERS GRADUATE FROM ABAC POLICE ACADEMY

TIFTON— Christopher J. Hutcherson, Samantha A. Jordan, Jessica W. Lumpkin, Danny J. McLendon, and Eric F. Strom of the Albany Police Department and Peter C. Spahn of the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport were among 17 individuals who recently received certificates at graduation exercises for the 231st session of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) Regional Police Academy at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

McLendon received the Overall Achievement award, second place in Academics, and served as the president of the 231^st session. Strom was awarded second place in Firearms and Spahn earned first place in Academics.

The GPSTC regularly holds multi-week intensive training sessions designed to acquaint officers with state-of-the-art law enforcement techniques. The Academy operates in cooperation with the Division of Social Science at ABAC.
