THOMASTON RESIDENT AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP AT ABAC

TIFTON—Tamzy Whittle of Thomaston has been awarded a scholarship from the ABAC Foundation to attend Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College during the 2009-10 academic year.

Whittle is an accounting major. She is a graduate of Flint River Academy.

The application deadline for the fall term at ABAC is Aug. 1.  Fall semester classes begin Aug. 17.
