TWO SESSIONS OF MOTORCYCLE SAFETY
COURSE AT ABAC
TIFTON—Interested persons can choose from two
sessions of the Georgia Motorcycle Safety Program course, which
will be offered July 10 - 12 and July 31 – Aug. 2 through the Public
Service and
The first session will take place Friday –
Sunday, July 10 from 6 – 9 p.m.; July 11 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and July 12 from
8 a.m. – 4 p.m. There is a fee of $250
for in-state drivers and $350 for out-of-state drivers. All classes will take
place in the courtroom of the J. Lamar Branch Student Center, third floor.
Session two will take place Friday - Sunday, July
31 from 6 – 9 p.m.; Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. – 4
p.m.
For additional information or to register,
interested persons can contact ABAC’s Public Service and
ABAC is offering the Basic Motorcycle Riding
Course in cooperation with the Department of Driver Service’s Georgia
Motorcycle Safety Program. The course concludes with a knowledge test and an
on-cycle skill evaluation. This course requires no experience, and the
motorcycle will be provided.
