FOLKSTON RESIDENT AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP AT ABAC

TIFTON—Katherine Thigpen from Folkston has been awarded a scholarship from the ABAC Foundation to attend Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College during the 2009-10 academic year.

Thigpen is an agriculture communication major.  She is a graduate of Charlton County High School.

The application deadline for the fall term at ABAC is Aug. 1.  Fall semester classes begin Aug. 17.
