by the economic downturn can attend a free workshop titled “Job Coaching for
Managers, Supervisors, Executives, and Professionals” on June 23-26 at
Sponsored by the
ABAC Public Service and Business Outreach Center (PSBOC) and the
PSBOC Director Diane Kilgore said the special workshop is funded by the University System of Georgia through its Georgia LEADS program and is directed to meet the needs of Georgians who have been displaced by the downturn in the economy.
“We are going to limit the class size to 20 so that everyone gets a lot of individual attention,” Kilgore said.

Topics will include “Adapting to Change,” “Changing Careers,” “Resume Preparation,” “Oral Communication,” “Interview Techniques,” and “The Negotiation Process.” Each manager will participate in a mock interview.
Interested persons should contact Starling Bussey at the Georgia Department of Labor at starling.bussey@dol.state.ga.us or call him at (229) 391-6950. Kilgore is also available for more information at dkilgore@abac.edu or at (229) 391-5070.
