GARDENING CLASSES START AUGUST 6 AT ABAC

TIFTON—Two gardening classes are available at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College starting on Aug. 6 through the Public Service and Business Outreach Center (PSBOC). Pre-registration is required.  

Organic Gardening will be held on Aug. 6, and Fall Vegetable Gardening will take place on Aug. 20. Both classes will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Horticulture building, Room 107. There is a fee of $19 per class.

In Organic Gardening, participants will learn the principles and practices of organic gardening, including how to combine organic and traditional methods.

Fall Vegetable Gardening will cover topics such as soil preparation, pest control, irrigation, and vegetable selection.
