FIRST TUESDAY CONCERT AT ABAC FEBRUARY 3
TIFTON
–The First Tuesday Concert at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Feb. 3
will feature a salute to Broadway classics with songs from "Cats," "Beauty
and the Beast," "Porgy and Bess," "Phantom of the
Opera,""Oklahoma," and many more.
The concert will take place at 7 p.m. in the ABAC Chapel
of All Faiths.
Tickets for the performance
can be purchased at the door. The cost is $3 for adults and $1 for students.
ABAC students are admitted free with ID. Patrons of the Arts and Entertainment
Series can attend at no charge.
Concert
performers include Brian Marchant, Marlene Bowen
Thornton, Dr. Susan Kirby Roe, Wayne Jones, Kody
Jones, Michael Johnson, Erlencia Mumphrey,
Haley Parrish, Savannah Rogers, Meagan Royal, and Ashley Williams. Gina Lawhon and
Vann Thornton will split time at the piano for the evening.
An art exhibit and refreshments will be held in the ABAC
music building immediately after the concert.
The First Tuesday Concert Series takes place on five
selected first Tuesdays during the academic year. Roe, associate professor of
