ASHBURN STUDENT MAKES TOP FIVE IN MR. ABAC CONTEST
TIFTON—Soloman
AbouHarb of Ashburn was chosen as one of the top five contestants in the recent
Mr. ABAC contest at
AbouHarb, a sophomore wildlife technology major, is the son of the Tonya AbouHarb. He was sponsored by the Forestry and Wildlife Club. He was also voted “Best Eyes’ in the competition.
The winner of the contest was Junior Chapman, a freshman agriculture education major from Jasper. Chapman also received the “Best Hair” award.
Other top five finishers were Ryan Reese, a sophomore political science major from Fitzgerald; Tyler Poole, a sophomore Agribusiness major from Donalsonville; and Kyle Peters, a sophomore athletic training major from Buford. Stephen Saylor, an agriculture education major from Conyers, won both the Essay and Contestants’ awards.
Contestants were sponsored by campus clubs, athletic teams, and student media. The Mr. ABAC contest was sponsored, produced, and directed by the Family and Consumer Sciences Club.
