FITZGERALD STUDENT MAKES TOP FIVE IN MR. ABAC
CONTEST
TIFTON—Ryan
Reese of Fitzgerald was chosen as one of the top five contestants in the recent
Mr. ABAC contest at
Reese, a sophomore political science major, is the son of Dr. R.V. Reese, Jr., and Mrs. Joy Reese. He was sponsored by the College Republicans.
The winner of the contest was Junior Chapman, a freshman agriculture education major from Jasper. Chapman also received the “Best Hair” award.
Other top five finishers were Soloman AbouHarb, a sophomore wildlife technology major from Ashburn; Tyler Poole, a sophomore Agribusiness major from Donalsonville; and Kyle Peters, a sophomore athletic training major from Buford. Stephen Saylor, an agriculture education major from Conyers, won both the Essay and Contestants’ awards.
Contestants were sponsored by campus clubs, athletic teams, and student media. The Mr. ABAC contest was sponsored, produced, and directed by the Family and Consumer Sciences Club.
