TIFTON - The women’s soccer team at
Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College begins the home portion of its schedule
Friday at 5 p.m. at the ABAC soccer field when Georgia Military College comes
to town.
The
Fillies welcome back all-time leading scorer Katrina Duncan Marshalleck, a
sophomore from London, England, who scored 26 goals last season in her freshman
campaign. The Fillies won a record 13 matches last year against only six
defeats. ABAC lost in the first round of the state playoffs.
“We
are excited about the start of the season,” Coach Jimmy Ballenger said as he begins
his fourth year of soccer at ABAC. “Fan support means a lot, and I hope
we can get some folks out to the field.”
The
ABAC soccer field is located on the south side of the campus, next to the
tennis courts.
