SYLVESTER RESIDENT COORDINATES FACILITIES USE AT ABAC

            TIFTON—When it comes to scheduling facilities on the campus of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, Alma Young is the person to call.      

            Young lives in Sylvester and drives to the Tifton campus of ABAC every day where she coordinates the ABAC Information Center and also coordinates use of campus facilities by on-campus and off-campus groups.  Persons who need facilities information can reach her at (229) 391-5098.

            “I’m really excited to be back at ABAC,” said Young.  “It’s a great school. I really enjoy being at the Information Center and helping the students, faculty, and staff.”

            Young is responsible for scheduling all facilities for the faculty, staff, and students of ABAC. Other venues are open to the community for scheduling, including the Chapel of All Faiths.  She also assists with the design of web pages on the ABAC web site.

            Young received her Associate of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising from ABAC while working as a student worker in the Office of Information Technology Services. She then attended Georgia Southern University where she attained her Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Design.
