Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College seeks to encourage and sustain an academic environment that both respects individual freedom and promotes the health, safety and welfare of all members of the college community. The possession and consumption of any illegal drug is prohibited on campus property. The ABAC Police Department enforces all drug laws.

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College also encourages a drug-free campus community and complies with the Drug Free Work Place Act of 1988 and the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act of 1989. All violations of state and federal laws are subject to criminal prosecution and or student judicial proceedings
