Sexual Assault and Offenses

When crimes occur to members of the campus community, the ABAC Police Department works to assist the victim and to identify and/or apprehend the offender.

When a report of a sexual assault is received by the ABAC Police Department, an officer will immediately respond to the victim and render such first aid as may be necessary. The officer will attempt to secure the crime scene and protect any evidence present.

If possible, the officer will identify the assailant and arrest the individual if the conditions of probable cause are present. The ABAC Police Department will contact other members of the campus community in order to assist the student. These services include Health Services, Counseling, and the Student Affairs office (Student Judiciary).
