Coach Julie Conner’s Fillies basketball team has enjoyed great success this year. The Fillies, 19-6 overall, will play in the first round of the GJCAA women’s tournament in Albany, Georgia on Tuesday, February 27th at  6:00 p.m. against  Andrew College.  Semifinals are Wednesday, February 28th at  7:30 p.m. and the state title game is Thursday,  March 1st at 5:30 p.m.   The Fillies are seeded second behind the Georgia Perimeter Lady Jaguars. The Georgia state titlist will host a play-in game for the national tournament on March 10.
 

Two members of the Fillies' basketball team were selected for the women's all-region team. Turelle Jones was named to the first team, and Ray-Donee Jones was selected for the second team. The Fillies begin state tourney play Tuesday in Albany, Georgia.
