Melissa
enters her first season for the Fillies after graduating from Southwest High
School where she played for Coach Willie Goolsby. Melissa is the daughter of Benjamin and Joyce Gail, and she
has one brother and one sister. Conner
on Gail: “Melissa is one
of the players who will be expected to take the reins at the point guard
position this year. She is an
extremely quick defender, a good shooter, and a very well rounded basketball
player.” Fillie Fun Facts:
The person Melissa admires most is her mother...the best advice that
anyone ever gave her was to never give up on your dreams...she believes that
Michael Jordan is the greatest athlete of all time...Gail also plays on the
Fillies softball team...her favorite food is dressing.
