Mary Lee returns for her second season as a Fillie, and Coach Conner hopes that she will pick up right where she left off at the end of last season when she was averaging several 3’s a game.  Mary Lee (or “ML” as she is affectionately known to her teammates) played her high school career at Tift County where she was a Lady Devil under John O’Brien.  Mary Lee is the daughter of Ray and Libby Henderson and she has one brother.  Conner on Henderson: “I think Mary Lee’s experience will make a difference on our team this year.  We are using a quote from Dean Smith for this season...’Play Hard, Play Smart, and Have Fun’, and I truly believe that Mary Lee depicts that theme perfectly.”

Fillie Fun Facts:  Mary Lee says that she admires her Dad most from an athletic perspective, but  admires her Mom when it comes to life...her favorite verse is ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me’.  Philippians 4:13....going to Australia would be a dream vacation.
