Coach Julie Conner and Family

Julie Conner is a Tifton native where she was a standout for the Tift County High School Lady Devils.  As for her college career, Conner played basketball under Coach John Carrick at the now Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia.   She graduated with her Bachelor's in Health and Physical Education in 1992, and her Master's in Health and Physical Education in 1994.  After four year's as a player, she was asked to be a graduate assistant coach under Carrick and for the next year and then eventually earned the first full-time assistant's job at GC & SU.

Julie is married to Tom Conner and they have one son, "Tye", Thomas Wayne Conner, III.  Conner says she is proud to bring women's basketball back to ABAC!
