Freda returns as one of the key Fillie sophomores.  She led the team in rebounds last season averaging 9.3.  Freda played two years at Meadowcreek High School and then played her last two years at basketball powerhouse Morrow High School.  She is a very athletic post player that can really run the floor.  She is the daughter  of William Sapee and Winifred Weatherspoon.  She has two sisters and one brother.  Conner on Cherry:  “Freda is a very talented basketball player.  She is one of the key players that we will be depending on to help lead our team this year.  One thing that I love about Freda is that she leads by example.”  Fillie Fun Facts:  Freda’s favorite hobbies are playing basketball and watching TV…in ten years she sees herself with a house, kids, and as an independent woman…her favorite basketball memory was playing in the State Final Four…her dream vacation would be going to Madagascar (an island off the southeast coast of Africa).
