Chelsey Edelberg #36 Freshman 1B/DH Bats L/Throws R Dahlonega, Ga.
ABAC:
Chelsey broke her foot in 2009 at the beginning of the season and was
awarded a medical red-shirt.
Campbell on Chelsey:
“I am excited to have Chelsey back healthy in 2010.
She possesses the big bat that we have been missing and I look
forward to her going to the plate for the Fillies in 2010.”
High School:
Lumpkin County High School, Varsity Letterman for 4 years, offensive award
for three years, Region Championship senior year 2007, and sectional
appearance for two years.
Personal:
Born on March 7, 1990. Two younger sisters, Bailey and Tyler, and one
younger brother, DJ. Daughter of Joy and David Edelberg. Hobbies: Softball,
camping, and spending time with my family.
Why ABAC?
I knew it would be a perfect fit for me. I love the small town feel and
friendliness of the place. The academic program is wonderful. The team is
like a family and Coach Campbell makes things fun.
