#04 Lauren Moyer *Sophomore* *Outfielder* *5’9”* *Bats R/Throws L* Fayetteville, GA
At ABAC: “Lauren is a natural in the outfield with an excellent glove and arm. She played in all games for the Fillies in 2008 in left field and right field. I expect great things from Lauren again in 2009.”
High School: Lauren attended Whitewater High School and was a four year varsity letterman under head coach Stacey Smith. She played first base and outfield. In her sophomore year she received the "Slugger" award; this award is given to the person with the highest batting average. She also made the 2nd team All County/ All Region. In her junior year she was team captain along with making the 1st All County/All Region team. During her senior year she was a member of the Wildcats team that made their first state appearance, where they placed 5th.
Personal: Lauren was born in Boise, Idaho to the parents of Douglas and Tina Moyer. She has a younger brother, James. Lauren has been playing softball since she was 8 years old. In her free time Lauren likes to hang out with friends, shopping, talking on the phone, and just hanging out.
Why ABAC: I chose ABAC because I knew a lot of the girls and came down here and saw the campus I knew that it was a good fit for me.
