Campbell on Courtney:  “Courtney is currently battling a shoulder injury but hopefully she will be at full strength this Spring.  She is a competitor and I look for many quality innings on the mound in 2009.

High School:  A four year varsity player at Morgan County High School. Her team came in 2nd in AA State her freshman year, where she played some 1st base and 1st in AA State her sophomore year, where she started at 3rd base. She was the Lady Dogs starting pitcher her junior and senior year and received MVP those years.

Personal: Courtney was born November 6, 1989 in Roswell, Georgia. She is the only child of Dennis and Candy Beam. She is currently majoring in Biology where she wants to become a forensic scientist.

Why ABAC?  When I first came to ABAC it just felt like where I was suppose to be. The campus is very pretty and it was just the right size. Coach seemed to be a very caring, enthusiastic person and I wanted to have a coach like that.
