Softball Fillies Finish Fifth in State The ABAC Fillies finished fifth in the state tournament, completed Sunday at Georgia Perimeter College in Atlanta. Darton won the title. The Fillies opened up with a 7-2 win over Georgia Military on Friday but then lost to Darton 4-3, and Young Harris 2-1. ABAC wound up with a 15-8 league record and an overall mark of 21-24. The Fillies had two all conference players, Erin Searcy and Rachelle Adkins. |
