Campbell on Lakin:  “I am always glad to keep the hometown talent in Tifton and Lakin is a pleasure to have on my Fillie team.  She is fundamentally solid player at 1^st base and will be an asset to the Fillie in 2008.”

 

High School: Lakin attended Tift Co. High School where she played varsity softball under Coach Ivey Vickers for 4 years and was a starter at 1st base
for 3 years. Lakin was awarded the Coaches Award her sophomore year and received the Senior Award her last year. She was a four year varsity letterman for the Lady Devils. Her team was All Region Champs in 2004 and runner-up in 2003 and 2005. They also made it to the state sectionals all
four years.

 

Personal: Lakin was born March 17, 1989, St. Patricks Day! Her parents are Gail and Buddy Perryman. Lakin enjoys playing softball, camping, swimming, hanging out with friends and watching movies. She is majoring in Radiology.

 

Why ABAC? "I chose ABAC for one because it’s in my home town and I grew up attending ABAC's fastpitch camps and I knew it would be a great program to enter. ABAC also has an excellent educational program and is a friendly environment to be in."
