Campbell on Lauren:  “What a small world it is, as 10 years ago in Macon, Ga. I helped my brother coach a 9-10 year old recreation team. 
Lauren was a member of that team 10 years ago and now she is a member of my Fillie team.  Lauren is an excellent player who will help us with her
bat as she has a great eye at the plate.”

 

High school: Lauren was a 3 year varsity letterman at Central High School in Macon, Ga.  She transferred her senior year to Jones County High
School in Gray, Ga. where she played and started for the varsity team.  While at Central, Lauren earned the Coach's Award her freshman year, Best Offensive Player Award her sophomore and junior year, and Varsity Captain's Award her junior year.  Lauren ran varsity track her freshman year
and played varsity soccer her sophomore and junior year.  In soccer, Lauren earned MVP honors her junior year.

 

Personal:  Lauren was born on Feb. 22, 1989 in Macon, Ga. She is the youngest child of John and Terry Potts and has one older brother, Ryan.
Lauren's favorite things to do include spending time with her family and friends, playing softball, staying active, shopping, and going on vacation.

 

Why ABAC?  “Coach Campbell coached me as a beginning player and I enjoyed going to the camps as a young player. When I came to try out at ABAC, I knew that I wanted to play for her again.”
