Campbell on Courtney:  “Courtney is a tremendous athlete with solid fundamental skills in the infield.  She is one of those players who loves the game and with her great work ethics she will be a star for the Fillies in 2008.”

 

High School: Courtney was a 5-year varsity letterman of softball and basketball.  She was also a 4-year letterman of tennis, soccer, and track.  In softball as an eighth grader, she received honorable mention from the 9th-12th grade years, she received All Region and All State honors. As a senior, Courtney was selected to the 2006 All Star team. Courtney helped lead her team to back-to-back state championships in 2005 and 2006.  In basketball, Courtney was an  All Region and All State player all 4 years.  Courtney was also named the 2006-2007 GISA Player of the Year.  In soccer, Courtney was named All Region and All state 2 years.  In 2005, Courtney was the State High Jump Champion in track.  In tennis, Courtney was All Region in 2004 and 2005.

 

Personal: Courtney was born April 17, 1989.  She is the daughter of Mike and Joy Spilman, and has one younger sister, Brittney.  Her favorite hobbies are playing softball, hunting, and anything outdoors. Jennifer attends Dawson United Methodist Church in Dawson. 

 

Why ABAC?  “I chose ABAC because I thought Coach and I would be a good fit for each other. I enjoy being around all the girls and I also love the small, friendly environment that radiates from ABAC.”
