Campbell on Erin:  “Erin is one of the hardest working pitchers I have had in quite some time at ABAC.  She is a perfectionist in every thing she does. 
I expect Erin to have a great freshman year on the mound for the Fillies.”

 

High School:  Erin was a 4 year letterman in softball at Thomas County Central High School. Her junior year she was named 1st Team All-Region, Most Valuable Pitcher for the region, and Defensive Player of the Year for her high school. During her senior year, Erin was named 1st Team All-Region, MVP for the region and MVP for her high school. She was also in the National Honor Society during high school.

 

Personal:  Erin was born on August 29, 1989 to her parents Jimmy and Kathy Searcy. She has an older sister, Brooke and a younger brother, Jim. Her hobbies are playing softball, visiting with family and friends, listening to music, and helping the younger girls in the community with softball. She is majoring
in Pre-med.

 

Why ABAC?  "When trying-out at ABAC, Coach Campbell and the team made me feel so welcomed.  As I learned more about ABAC, I knew it was the college for me. It has the small and friendly environment I wanted but an excellent softball program as well."
