Campbell on Amanda: “Amanda will help with our pitching duties in 2006. She is a young pitcher but as she gains experience she will develop into an excellent pitcher for us. She has the tools to become a great college pitcher in the GJCAA.”
ABAC: “Amanda gained valuable pitching time in 2006 and will be counted on heavily in 2007.”
High School: Amanda was a four year letterman for the Perry Lady Panthers softball team. She was named, by her team, MVP her sophomore, junior and
senior years. In 2003 Amanda was named Region 4AAA Defensive Player and Player of the Year, and was voted to the AAA All State team. In 2004, Amanda
was named region 4AAA Pitcher and Player of the Year, and was again voted to the AAA All state Team. Amanda helped led her team to two consecutive
region 4AAA championships, along with two consecutive elite 8 appearances in Columbus, where the Lady Panthers finished 4th and 5th respectfully. 2004, Amanda was named to the GHSA North/South High School All Star Team.
Personal: Amanda was born July 23, 1987. She is the daughter of Lorne and Lisa Tucker, and she has one younger sister named Lindsay. Favorite
hobbies include softball, hunting, talking on her cell phone, and hanging with her friends and family. Amanda plans on majoring in Nursing.
