Campbell on Christy:  “Christy will add greatly to our pitching staff in 2007.  She is a control type pitcher and will compliment her peers.  I expect her to get plenty of innings on the mound in 2007.”

High School:  Christy was a one year letter at Lafayette High School her freshman year and was a two year letter her junior and senior year at Trion High School as a Lady Bulldog. In 2004 and 2005 Christy helped lead her team to two consecutive Elite 8 appearances finishing 7^th and 5^th. In 2004 she was named to the All State Team for Single A. She was named to the All Region Team both years, All State Team in 2004, Tennessee/Georgia All Star Team in 2005, and was on the Greater Rome Area Team. Christy won other awards such as Academic Awards and was top 10% of her class.

Personal:  Christy was born December 8, 1987. She is the daughter of Bill and Nanette Bryan, and has one younger sister named Kayla. Her favorite hobbies include softball, hanging out with friends, fishing, working out, talking on the phone, spending time with her family and friends, and having a good time. Christy is majoring in Agricultural Education.

Why ABAC?  I have always wanted to study some form of Agriculture here at ABAC and when I came down and tried out for the team it just added to my desire. The team’s atmosphere was so much different then anywhere else I had been and I knew that it was the place for me. This program is great, has a lot to offer and I wanted to be a part of it.
