Campbell on Ivy “I am very proud to have a player of Ivy’s caliber in our program.  She is a true athlete and will be fun to watch.  She is an excellent catcher and will see time at the corners this season.”

ABAC:  “Ivy was named 2nd team All Conference (GJCAA) and caught 22 games in 2006, as well as getting playing time at shortstop and 3rd.  She hit .275.”

High School:   Four years varsity softball and four years varsity soccer at Tift County High School Lady Devils. I made all region four years in both softball and soccer. I made all-state in both softball and soccer during my senior year.

Personal:   Ivy was born on August 21, 1987. Daughter of Robert and Debbie Gartman.  She has two brothers, Justin and Wade and one sister Hope. She enjoys being around her family and friends. She attends Trinity United Methodist Church.

Why ABAC?   I choose ABAC because it is a great college and has an excellent softball team. Coach Campbell is an awesome coach and ever since I was little I've attended camps she’s hosted.  I've always thought she'd be a great coach to play for. It is close to home so I get so see my family more which is always a plus. ABAC and I were "meant to be."
