Campbell on Teresa:  “Teresa knows the meaning of hard work and it has paid off for her this Fall as she has improved tremendously.  She will help us with her bat as well and will split catching duties in the 2005 season.”   

 

High School: Teresa was a four year varsity starter, started every game.  And also played basketball and golf at Bleckley County High School.  She was awarded the Best Offensive Player Award her Freshman year.  Her ninth grade year she was on the Second All Middle Georgia Team.  Her tenth grade year her team won region and got fourth place in state.  In her senior year they went to sectionals and she got the Coach’s Award and the Leadership Award. 

 

Personal: Teresa was born on July 12, 1986 to her proud parents, Barry and Melanie Long.  She has one brother, B.J., which is 13 years old.  Teresa enjoys a lot of things such as softball, golf, talking on the phone, and spending time with family and friends. After ABAC she plans on attending a four-year school and pursue her education in Early Childhood. 

 

Why ABAC? “I choose ABAC because I wanted to be apart of a good athletic program.  I wanted to fulfill my dream of playing college softball and by coming to ABAC I have done so.  I didn’t want to be to far away from home, so ABAC was a great choice for me to pursue my softball dreams as well as my education.”
