develops her curve ball she will be tough to beat in our conference.”

team. In travel ball for the last two
years her team has qualified for the ASA World Series, won bronze at our
provincial qualifiers, as well as at provincials. Two years ago her team did qualify for

all of Canada.
Mel received the MVP award in the bronze medal game, by having 13 strikeouts in
6 innings, and allowed only 1 earned run.
Personal: Was born in Port Hope, Ontario.
Common interests are, reading, playing the flute, and running. She is the daughter of Linda and David
Laliberte. Has one brother, Nicholas She is
working her way towards a degree in Chemistry/Pre-Pharmacy.
Why ABAC?: I came to ABAC
by chance, after signing with Division 1, Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania. After a coaching change at Saint Francis, I
no longer wanted to attend. Via the
college web site and talking with Coach Campbell I decided to sign with ABAC
about 3 weeks before school started.
Things seemed to work out alright because the school and people are
great, and I love the weather.
