Campbell on Erica: “Erica has all the tools to be the complete player, she has great fundamental skills in the infield and a great bat. This year Erica will move back to her natural position at shortstop and I expect great things from her in 2005.”

College: Erica played part time at first base last season as was our full time DH.

High School: She was a four year starter and letterman for Warner Robins High School. She was named Best Defensive player her junior year and M.V.P. her senior year. Erica was also named to the All-Middle Ga. Team in 2000, 2001, and 2002. In her senior year she was named Player of the year for Houston County.

Personal: Born May 23, 1985…she is the daughter of Jeff and Kristy Pope and has a brother named Steven. She enjoys playing sports, spending time with her family and friends, shopping, sleeping, and having fun. Erica is majoring in Psychology and wants to be a therapist.

Why I chose ABAC: I chose ABAC because of the friendly atmosphere and because of the great softball reputation ABAC has in junior college fastpitch.
