Campbell on Christy: "I am so excited to have a student-athlete of Christy’s caliber at ABAC. Christy is the total package; a great student in the classroom and a hard-working athlete on the field. She will be making the switch from slowpitch to fastpitch and comes to us from Berrien County, but with her work ethics, I believe she will contribute very quickly to the team and play a vital role her freshman year."

High School: Christy was a four year lettermen for Berrien High School in softball and tennis. She helped lead her team to a third place finish in the AA State Tournament her junior year. She was selected to participate in the North vs. South All-Star game, was selected as a member of the Tift-Area first team, and 2AA All-Region Team her senior year. She received the Most Valuable Player award in softball and tennis her senior year. Christy played traveling ball with the Waycross Suns and helped the Suns capture five out of the six national championships.

Personal: Born on February 16, 1983...Christy enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing sports...She is the daughter of Johnny and Kathy Taylor...Christy plans on attending a four-year college after ABAC to major in Early Childhood Education.
