Campbell on Melissa: "Mel had a tremendous Freshman season behind the plate and handled most of the catching duties. She is a solid defensive catcher and calls a great game behind the plate. Mel will be a good one for the four year colleges to snap up."

College: All Conference GJCAA as a freshman.

High School: Melissa played hockey, softball and volleyball throughout high school. She was the captain of her hockey team and was named MVP for both hockey and softball. In her senior She was named Athlete of the Year.

Personal: Born June 30, 1981...enjoys playing different sports. Her parents are John and Anna...has two younger brothers, Chris and Michael. Melissa is planning on attending a four-year college after ABAC and is majoring in Physical Education.
