Intramural Basketball Schedule 2005

Subject: Recreation Sports and Intramurals

Here is the schedule for Spring Sports at ABAC as well as when and how to register.  There is no charge for Intramurals as they are part of your activity fee.

Bowling—Register any time between noon and 5:00pm at the Tift County Lanes.  This is a four person team registration and not individuals.  The League bowls every Monday at 5:00pm and will begin in two weeks.  The Bowling alley phone number is 386-0820.  Ask for James.

Basketball—Register now through January 25 at the Recreation Sports Office located in the Gressette Gym, Rm. 125.  This is a TEAM registration only.  We do keep a list of players who want to play if you are in need of one or two.  We will be playing men’s league and coed.  Games will be played in the evening.  Top team goes to the State Tournament in Atlanta at the end of February.  You do not have to turn in your roster until your first game.

Softball—Register now through February 4 at the Recreation Sports Office, Rm. 125 Gressette.  No need to turn in your entire roster until you first game.  Games will be played at E.B. Hamilton on Wednesdays, 4-11pm

Golf Leagues—An intramural golf league will begin in mid February.  Awards will be given to the top two-some as well as the best individual score.  Pick up team registration forms at the Sports Office, Rm. 125, Gressette Gym.

Golf Team Tryouts—Beginning in the Fall we will be playing intercollegiate Golf representing Region 17.  We will have a limited amount of aid available for our teams.  We will be holding registration and tryouts this Spring.  Tryouts consist of several 18 hole tournaments to be held I this vicinity.  If you are interested in playing this Fall and during the regular season in the Spring of 2006, please stop by the office and fill out a registration form and leave it in my door.
