Physical Education Major
If you love
sports, there is a major at ABAC that might be perfect for you. Physical
Educations primary focus is the study of human movement in physical
activity. Majors must like to work with people, be adequately skilled in
physical activities, have a commitment to fitness and be interested in the
physical, biological and social sciences.

What
Courses Do Physical Education Majors Take At ABAC?
Students in this major take the required core curriculum as well as two
classes in Anatomy and Physiology and three Education courses. In addition,
all majors are required to enroll in Field Experience where they shadow an
instructor in one of the activity classes. All Physical Education majors are
encouraged to take as many activity classes as possible to expand their
knowledge and make them more versatile.
