#50 Kevin Armstrong *6’8* Sophomore *Forward* Rutledge, GA

Kevin returns to ABAC after a red shirt year last season.  A transfer from Gulf Coast Community College in Florida he chose ABAC because it is one of the best two year schools in Georgia and it was a chance to continue playing college basketball.  Kevin is currently majoring in education and would one day like to coach basketball.  Kevin comes to ABAC from Madison County High School where he played for Coach Donald Harris.  He is the son of Kevin and Alvona Armstrong of Rutledge, Georgia.

Sheppard on Armstrong:  “Kevin is a long, slender athlete who is capable of scoring in a variety of ways.  As he learns the system he will become much more effective.  He will see time at the center position and will present match-up problems for the slower post players that he will face.”
