#04 Chris Brown *6’6* Sophomore *Forward* Colquitt, GA

Chris returns to ABAC for his second season as a Stallion.  He attended Miller County High School where he played for Coach Tim Martin.  In Chris’ senior year under Coach Martin he averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks per contest.  He was a First Team All Region selection.  He chose ABAC because of the friendly surroundings and the coaching staff.  He lists Paul Foote as his favorite ABAC professor.  Chris is currently a Physical Education major and would one day like to coach.  Chris is the son of Ezra and Mary Brown.

Sheppard on Brown:  “Chris is a strong, powerful player who presents a variety of problems for opponents.  He is relentless on the boards and will do the majority of his scoring on the inside and from the free throw line.  He can change the game with his intensity and toughness on the inside but is definitely capable of stepping out and hitting the perimeter jump shot.  Defensively Chris challenges shots very well using his timing and athleticism to block shots.  He is a joy to coach, and I know all of his former Coaches feel the same way.”
