Lisa Purvis Allison Spirit of Nursing Award

The Lisa Purvis Allison Spirit of Nursing Award was presented to Landra Harrell, a sophomore student at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences, on August 28th, 2010, during a recognition ceremony held at the UGA Conference Center. Based on her written essay, Lisa’s parents chose Landra as the recipient of this award as a way to continue the legacy of care and compassion that Lisa Purvis Allison possessed and nurtured in others. 
Other students who were recognized during the ceremony included: Melanie Johnston, Rebekah Beach, Courtney Taibi, Barbara Riddle, Whitney Conner, and Maggie Lepe.
