Her team won their region both her junior and senior year’s and she received All-region both years. She also was awarded 2nd team All-County, player of the year her junior year, and All-County Honorable mention her senior year. She played on two State Championship teams with Collins Hill.

Personal: Chelsea was born May 21, 1993 in Charleston, South Carolina to Robert and Audrey Littlejohn. She is an only child. Along with softball, Chelsea also enjoys many different things like singing, playing games, fishing, seeing movies, and above all else, spending time with her family and best friends.

Why ABAC? I chose ABAC because when looking for a college it was the place where I felt the most comfortable. I felt that it suited me very well. Coach Campbell and Griffin were both huge contributing factors that also made my decision a very good one. Other than them, my main reason for coming here was because of the small campus and for softball and a good education.

Kimberly Jewell #10 Sophomore

IB Bats R/Throws R Douglasville, GA

At ABAC: “Kim played in 45 games as a freshmen; mainly starting games at 1st base. Kim had 149 plate appearances last season which she hit 17 singles and 2 doubles. Kim drove in 9 runs and scored 8 runs.”

Campbell on Kimberly: “Kimberly gained valuable experience as a freshmen; with the majority of her starts playing 1st base. She is a fundamentally sound player who has the ability to contribute with her bat. I expect really good things from Kim this season.”

High School: Kimberley went to Alexander High School where she played four years on the Varsity softball team. She received honorable mention All-Region her junior year and Second Team All-Region her senior year.

Personal: Kimberley was born on February 21, 1993 in Austell, Georgia. She lives with her parents Tim and Tabitha Turner and has two sisters Katelynn and Bethany. Along with softball Kim enjoys other sports and anything outdoors. She likes spending time with her sisters, family and friends.

Why ABAC? I choose ABAC because of the campus size and the apartment style living. Coach Campbell’s attitude also was a help of considering why I chose ABAC. She made me feel welcome and so did all the girls on the team. Having to balance grades and ball, the small campus size was perfect for me.
