I am originally from Tupelo, Mississippi. I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1996 with my Bachelors of Accountancy and again in 1998 with my Masters of Taxation.
I worked as an intern in Memphis, Tennessee, for Coopers & Lybrand, LLP (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers) between the two degree programs. My next employment after college was with Allen, Pritchett & Bassett, LLP in Tifton, Georgia.
In the fall of 2003, I began my academic career at ABAC. I teach Principles of Accounting I and II as well as Computer Fundamentals.
I volunteer with the American Cancer Society. I also serve on the committee for the Tift County Relay for Life.
I am the Youth Director at Inaha Baptist Church in Turner County and I stay busy with my youth and other things at my church.
I love the outdoors as well as technology so I am not always at the desk! I enjoy playing tennis, running and hunting. Also, when I get the chance I like to go hiking, kayaking and camping. I enjoy riding horses and once upon a time, I use to barrel race. Hopefully, I will get to start again one day.
I like quotes, I have listed some of my favorites.
