Calendar for Tuesday, Thursday 11:00 and 2:00 Classes, Fall 2011.  This calendar is tentative, and you can expect many small changes as we react to reality.  But the following warning always holds:  When you see a chapter listed on your calendar, you should have read the chapter before you come to class and be prepared for a quiz at the beginning of class. You may also have short quizzes on student presentations, guest presentations, or on my lectures.

Jan.    10--We will look at the syllabus and other documents (including this calendar).
                 Drop/add ends at 4:30 tomorrow.

Jan.    12-- I will assign you a partner, and you will spend class time today interviewing him/her; take notes.
Your goal is to learn enough to make a 2-minute presentation about this person to the class next week.
Be sure you have read the syllabus by the time you come to class on Tuesday.  You may have a quiz on it.
