Joe Njoroge graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee / Knoxville. He holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Eastern Kentucky University, and an M.A. in Theology from Church of God Theological Seminary/Cleveland, Tennessee. He received undergraduate degrees in both economics and political science from University of Tennessee / Knoxville.

At the moment Dr. Njoroge is a Professor of Political Science & Religion, and the Head of the Department of History & Political Science at Abraham Baldwin College in Tifton, Georgia. He is also the immediate past National President of Kenya Christian Fellowship in America (KCFA). He now serves as the Chairman of KCFA Board of Trustees. Dr. Njoroge is past chairman of the University System of Georgia Board of Regents Advisory Committee on Political Science (POLS-RAC). He now serves in this committee as the ABAC representative.
