Please note that I advise only learning support students.  If you have exited your learning support courses, I will help to transfer you to your major (academic) advisor.  Also, if you have only one learning support course remaining, I can transfer you to your major advisor.

NOTE:  The best time to se me is between 10 a.m. and noon on  Monday or Wednesday morning. If you need advisement, please bring your current schedule.  Please have at least 20 minutes to talk when you come to see me.

Recommended First-Semester Courses

• Any and all learning support courses (ENGL 0099, READ 0099, MATH 0099)
• Fundamentals of Computer Applications (CISM 2201, 3 Credit Hours)
• Freshman Seminar (ABAC 1000, 1 Credit Hour)
• Health and Wellness (PHD 1100C, 2 Credit Hours)

Please see the following statement about Learning Support from the 2008-2009 ABAC Catalog:

Until learning support requirements have been satisfied, students shall not be permitted to take credit courses which require the content or the skills of the prerequisite courses. Students with learning support placement must:

• exit or exempt learning support reading as a prerequisite for social, natural, and physical science courses;
• exit or exempt learning support English and reading as prerequisites for college-level English;
• exit or exempt learning support mathematics as a prerequisite for mathematics, physics, and chemistry;
