My name is Jordan Cofer and I am an Assistant Professor of English at ABAC. I am the faculty advisor for the Rural Studies Club, and a co-advisor for the College Literature Reading Group. I was also the assistant editor of the William Carlos Williams Review. I am a member of the Literature committee and part of the Rural Studies program.

I love it here at ABAC and have been involved with several different clubs, Pegasus Literary Journal, published articles in The Stallion and was honored to receive a campus Pacesetter Award for 2010.

I moved to Tifton with my wife, Rebecca, the Student Development Specialist for students in Liberal Arts and Nursing. In the last few years, I have lived in several states including Georgia, Texas, Virginia, Massachusetts and Missouri. I grew up in both Missouri and Tennessee. My wife is from New Jersey and Philadelphia, PA. Although we have been moving throughout the country, we feel at home in Tifton.

I am in office 302 in Conger Hall, so feel free to stop in and talk to me or give me a call (229) 391-4971
