ADP Shared Services

In the summer of 2008, the Board of Regents mandated that a shared services approach to the payroll and benefits administration be implemented for USG institutions.

The shared services model consolidates various payroll and HR functions with the goal of increasing functionality and service to USG employees. This process change assists ABAC’s HR and Payroll departments to optimize their resources as they continue to serve the needs of our faculty and staff.

Over the past several months, ABAC, along with other USG institutions have been working with ADP, the nation’s largest payroll services company, to develop and implement the ADP suite of products as part of the shared services project. On August 8, 2009, ABAC went live with a new suite of services hosted by ADP. This suite replaces PeopleSoft HRMS and other Payroll and HR functions.

Training has been conducted on the features of these new services. Additional classes will be made available to all employees and target groups as needed.
