ADP Shared ServicesIn the summer of 2008, the Board of Regents mandated that a shared services approach to the payroll and benefits administration be implemented for USG institutions. The shared services model will consolidate various payroll and HR functions with the goal of increasing functionality and service to USG employees. This process change will assist ABAC’s HR and Payroll departments to optimize their resources as they continue to serve the needs of our faculty and staff. Over the past several months, ABAC, along with other USG institutions have been working with ADP, the nation’s largest payroll services company, to develop and implement the ADP suite of products as part of the shared services project. On August 8, 2009, ABAC will go live with a new suite of services hosted by ADP. This suite will replace PeopleSoft HRMS and other Payroll and HR functions. In the near future, training will be conducted on the features of these new services. Class schedules will be made available to all employees and target groups will be contacted directly for attendance. The USG Shared Services Center (SSC) will be located in the city of Sandersville located east of Macon. Please watch your e-mail closely for announcements.
