BASIC FUNCTION
|
|
This position acts as an office assist to Public Service and Business Outreach Center. |
|
NATURE & SCOPE
|
|
The Summer Intern is responsible for creating, organizing and maintaining course files for the semester; assist in staff mailouts; prepare roll packets for initial class meeting of each course; process and summarize evaluations for each course; make all copies of the handouts required for a course by the instructor; assist staff with first day registrations; enter course registrations in database system; process all general requests for information, verbally or by mailing out course catalogs; answer telephone, assisting customers as needed with class registrations, questions and concerns; filing – registration forms, course materials, instructor contracts, class rolls, class evaluations, PLU forms and other items; general errands on campus; pick up and process mail; do weekly processing of online catalog requests; and all other duties as assigned. |

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES |
|
The Golf Course Superintendent, along with the Agriculture and Forest Resources Division Chair, set the budget. The superintendent is responsible for operating within that set budget. |
