BASIC FUNCTION

 

 This position acts as an office assist to Public Service and Business Outreach Center.

 

 

NATURE & SCOPE

 

The Summer Intern is responsible for creating, organizing and maintaining course files for the semester; assist in staff mailouts; prepare roll packets for initial class meeting of each course; process and summarize evaluations for each course; make all copies of the handouts required for a course by the instructor; assist staff with first day registrations; enter course registrations in database system; process all general requests for information, verbally or by mailing out course catalogs; answer telephone, assisting customers as needed with class registrations, questions and concerns; filing – registration forms, course materials, instructor contracts, class rolls, class evaluations, PLU forms and other items; general errands on campus; pick up and process mail; do weekly processing of online catalog requests; and all other duties as assigned.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Golf Course Superintendent, along with the Agriculture and Forest Resources Division Chair, set the budget.  The superintendent is responsible for operating within that set budget.
