BASIC FUNCTION |

The
Director of the ABAC on the Square is responsible for planning, developing,
organizing, and conducting all aspects of programs or courses in conjunction
with |
|
NATURE
& SCOPE |
|
The Director of the ABAC on
the Square reports to the Director of Evening and Off-Campus Programs. The incumbent is the supervisor of four staff
members. The Director of the ABAC on
the Square spends a significant amount of time dealing with student
issues. He/she is a primary recruiter
for the program, and he/she is also responsible for admitting, orienting,
teaching, advising, and mentoring students.
The incumbent is also the principle contact for disagreements between
students and faculty members. The incumbent focuses much
attention on community service and public relations. It is important for the College to have a
positive image in the community, and this responsibility falls to the
