BASIC FUNCTION

The Credentials Processor is responsible for enrollment services data entry including admissions and financial aid processing, reviewing files for completeness and providing follow-up services to ensure enrollment completion.  This position works to ensure the successful completion of the College’s enrollment goals.

 

NATURE & SCOPE

The Credentials Processors are the core of Banner student data, effective data analysis, and sound long-term decisions impacting the success of the institution. 

Though the credentials processors work in a back-office environment, the work performed is critical to ensuring that students have a fast, friendly and efficient enrollment process.  Accurate and timely data processing is needed to ensure a postive experience for the student,  

 

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Process admissions applications via GACollege411 and a minimal number of hard copy college applications and all associated admissions credentials such as transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, college-preparatory curriculum data.
  • Provide support for student communications to follow up with the enrollment process.
  • Responsible for scanning/filing admission and financial aid documents in a timely manner.
  • Reviews various financial aid forms/documents for completeness.
  • Responsible for processing re-admitted students, transient students and transfer students.
  • Process postal mail as well as e-mail for appropriate offices and pertinent USG listserv email.
  • Process major changes; name and address changes.
  • Provide support for Clearinghouse, enrollment verification, parental access forms.
  • Work with campus to ensure that USG reporting requirements are met, correctly and timely.
  • Ensure that the student enrollment process from start to finish is smooth, user friendly, and completed in a timely manner.
  • Performs all other job-related duties as assigned to suppor the entire enrollment process for students.

 

 

 

 

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Credentials Processor has no budgetary responsibilities.

 

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in information processing or related business field OR at least three years of related office experience.  Must be detail oriented, process oriented, possess a good work ethic and work well in a team environment.
